From May 1 to 4, 2025, Messe Friedrichshafen will open its doors for TUNING WORLD BODENSEE 2025. This is where the car tuning scene will converge with almost 200 exhibitors from over 10 countries, combining tuning with motorsport. Bernd Albrecht from Hirrlingen, team principal of White Angel for Fly and Help, will be on site as a brand ambassador for "The Motorsport Experience."
At 54, the experienced racing driver looks back on over 30 years in motorsport, during which he has consistently supported grassroots racing, particularly at the Nürburgring. He has also been involved in various charity projects at the 24-hour race. Since 2021, Albrecht and his 50-person volunteer team have competed in the legendary Nürburgring 24-hour race as the "White Angel for Fly and Help," collecting donations to build schools in emerging and developing countries together with the FLY&HELP Foundation. To date, 13 schools have been built, and funds have already been raised for two more schools in 2025.
In 2024, the Beetle RSR, developed by the team itself, made its racing debut and immediately became a crowd favorite, taking second place in its class. The wide-body prototype is powered by the 2-liter TFSI engine and produces up to 365 hp. For this year's toughest endurance race in the world, the car was converted to all-wheel drive and underwent further technical improvements to meet the demands of the Green Hell.
"It's a great pleasure and honor for me to be part of TUNING WORLD BODENSEE 2025! We're all united by our enthusiasm for fast cars, fascinating technology, and the latest developments. I'd like to use my knowledge to provide insights into the world of motorsport through presentations and personal discussions and demonstrate that it's still possible to enter the world of motorsports on a tight budget. I'm really looking forward to this event!" says team principal Bernd Albrecht.
In addition to Albrecht, his friend Sidney Hoffmann will also be present as a KW brand ambassador. Sidney is also a big fan of the Beetle RSR and has challenged Albrecht to a "Tuning Knowledge Battle," which promises to be a lot of fun. "He'll have to brace himself, because thanks to three decades of experience with so many brands, I'm very well prepared," Albrecht adds with a smile.
The Tuning World brand ambassador will be at his booth in the Motorsport Hall on all days of the event to offer valuable tips, share his experiences, and network. A special highlight is the competition benefiting the Reiner Meutsch Foundation FLY&HELP. Prizes include a unique tuned car, a set of wheels from BBS Motorsport GmbH, a high-quality tool set from bgs-technic, RAVENOL products, tickets to the 24-hour race, and unique fan clothing from the Nürburgring Paddock Shop.
